Darren began his working life as an apprentice electrician way back in 1981. He went on to fully qualify and then on to running my own small electrical company. As things progressed the company evolved into a multi-million pound turnover business working for blue chip retailers such as Boots, CO-OP Starbucks and KFC

Darren also opened a training centre to help young people into the electrical, plumbing and gas industries. The centre is still operating now and deals with over 60 apprentices at any one time.

In later life I have set up a business that offers coaching and consulting to smaller business owners. This gives me the opportunity to help others avoid the pitfalls I have experienced in business over the
years and is very rewarding.

With other 40 years in building services, I have a wealth of knowledge relating to all aspects of running projects both large and small, and different workstreams related to the industry.

I have also built teams and systems, structured on client needs and developed team members to fulfil business and client requirements through accountability and measurement
